All our training is delivered on a 1-1 basis and is 100% practical. You will work on Real Company Files under the supervision of qualified Chartered Accountants using various accounting software such as Sage 50 Account, QuickBooks, Excel, Xero and Sage 50 Payroll. We have a large team of Qualified Accountants and trainers who have years of experience in Accountancy sector. Trainer’s focus and attention is directed fully towards each trainee so that they are able to get support and guidance on what they need to improve.
We offer online, in branch and hybrid training. If you train in office you work on real business documents. Online one is client files converted into exercise, hybrid is a blended learning option which you can do online and in branch.
Our training programs are fully flexible so you can make your own timetable. You can choose the day and time according to your availability. We have multiple locations across UK and you can choose any location that is close to you.

We are the only practical accountancy training company in the UK whose training programs are endorsed by an institute of Financial Accountants (IFA). Established in 1916, the Institute of Financial Accountants (IFA) is an internationally recognised professional accountancy membership body. They are a full member of theInternational Federation of Accountants (IFAC) the global accounting standard-setter and regulator. The IFA is part of the Institute of Public Accountants (IPA) of Australia Group. To put a seal of recognition, our Practical Accountancy Training Programs are endorsed by IFA.
Cost and length of the training really depends on the level of training and number of software you choose (It can range from £244 - £2500). As we are Authorised and Regulated by Financial Conduct Authority, we also have interest free finance options available where you can pay a small deposit and remaining on monthly instalments starting from £40 per months.
You can pay by debit card, credit card, bank transfer, invoice your employer and secure online link. You can also apply for an interest-free payment plan, and spread the cost of the course over monthly payments for 6 or 10 months (terms apply).
As different companies use different accounting software. We want to make sure that our trainees are ready to apply for any job in the market straight after the training so we train our candidates on all famous accounting software such as Sage 50 Accounts, QuickBooks, Excel, Xero, sage payroll, sage final accounts, sage personal tax and bright pay. We cover in-depth knowledge of each software during the training. We also install licensed version of software on each candidate’s laptop for further practice.
Balance between training and work can be a real challenge. We want to support each trainee in achieving their career goals while keeping other commitments in life (family commitment or work commitment). Our training programs are fully flexible and you can make your own timetable by choosing the day and time that suits you best. And you have the flexibility to choose any training method, online in branch and hybrid.
On regular basis our recruitment consultants will be evaluating your skills to match with the industry requirements and identify if there are any learning gaps. Our goal is to bridge these gaps through training and development so that once you complete the training you come out as a confident job ready candidate. You will have vat reports and audit trail to check your understanding. Also, there will be tests which you need to do and a performance review towards the end of the training.
We are also a recruitment firm and work in partnership with Reed. At the end of the training program our recruitment consulates we will help you in preparing a professional CV. We use best CV templates and keywords that employers search while shortlisting candidates. We show this training as a work experience on your CV to boost your employability. We arrange interviews with employers and prepare our candidates for each interview to them feel confident. We also provide reference to potential employers to place our candidates in job. In 2023 we successfully placed 1600 candidates in accountancy jobs.
More and more employers are looking for candidates with both academic achievements and work experience, and that’s exactly what work placements can help you with. A work placement can offer you plenty of real benefits for progressing into accountancy career. A work placement on your CV can boost your employability. All of our training program come with a Guaranteed Work Placement either at our Chartered Accountancy firm or at one of our partner companies. Work placement is offered with our office-based courses, which is 4-6 weeks of guaranteed work placement which can be paid or unpaid and lead you to a permanent position. We do cover work experience reference with all the course, the Work Experience reference duration depends on the course you opt for.

We start from basic concepts and build up to more advance stage where candidates feel confident in applying for jobs. We have trained thousands of students without any previous work experience and they successfully managed to secure accountancy jobs.
KBM Chartered Certified Accountants are ACCA Approved employer at Gold Level. ACCA Approved Employers are formally recognised partners of ACCA. ACCAApproved employer provide a working environment that is designed to support ACCA members and/or trainees. The benefits of working for an Approved Employer can include performance objective exemption from the PER (Practical Experience Requirement) and high standards of staff training and personal development.
KBM is an approved AAT training provider as well as a Promoted training centre. With the collaboration of KBM Chartered Certified Accountants and Registered Auditors we offer all AAT qualifications with Accountancy Work Experience for jobs such as Accountant, Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant, Bookkeeper and Payroll Administrator. All of our AAT students get Accountancy Work Placement to become more employable.
